Great dash of cold water on Mr. Ahn Alex. He does seem to be hyping this a little bit.
The attribution game is a tough one as you well know. Maybe the only sign we will see that North Korea *was* responsible will be US reaction in the form of a comment from State Department and a diplomatic sanction. Not like relations could get any worse with North Korea!

Alex, it seems that the hype and hysteria are being used to drive up their stock price. Maybe "follow the money" is the name of the game?
Article in Forbes, "Korea Hot Stocks - Retailers, Smart grid issues, AhnLab up (07.10.09, 01:13 AM EDT)"
"AhnLab Inc has risen 60 percent on the week amid latest fears about website attacks by hackers.
A fresh wave of online attacks that slowed U.S. and South Korean websites this week hit more targets on Thursday, a Web security company said. The South's spy agency has said the hacking may be linked to North Korea.
AhnLab shares were up 14.8 percent at 17,850 won as of 0126 GMT, a gain of more than 60 percent from 11,150 won a week ago.
'How long this rally will continue is directly correlated to the scale of these attacks,' said Lee Chang-young, an analyst at Tong Yang Securities."

Hysteria can be profitable.
