The 404 error scam sites are used by the Zlob infestations to re-dirtect users who mistype, click on dead URLS, or urls that are blocked in the users Internet Restricted zone of the registry. The page usually states "you have been blocked by adware or spyware" and has a link to one of the antispyware rogues the Security Scam Hijackers advertise. This is one of the main scare tactics they have used since March of 2005 first from popfinder.net.
