What's your brilliant thought?

You don't ask a lot, do you?

1. Newsies - "King of New York" - Racetrack
2. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - "Any Dream Will Do" - Narrator
3. My Fair Lady - "Show Me" - Eliza
7. Little Shop of Horrors - "Dentist"? - The Dentist Guy
17. Kismet - "Night of My Nights" - the Caliph? (HK's in this, but not this role)
20. Guys and Dolls - "Marry the Man Today" - Sarah and Adelaide

I'll take another look later.

Sarah took all the ones I know.

I guess I can give you that one even though I was listening to a different version.

16. Adam (HK), "Sobbin' Women", Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
19. Billy Flynn, "Razzle Dazzle", Chicago

I bet #14 is the Scarlet Pimple, because that musical's ALWAYS in these things when you do them.

10. Mary Magdalene, "Everything's Alright," Jesus Christ Superstar

9. Tony, "Tonight," West Side Story

Other people should come along. I'm doing all of the work here!

9. West Side Story (movie, not stage) - "Tonight" duet - Tony. Note: the role was played by Richard Beymer, but the singing voice was dubbed in by Jim Bryant.

1. No one else can have an opportunity if you keep answering.
2. If you want people to answer, you should help me advertise...like on your blog, which people actually seem to read.
3. YOU WERE WRONG!!!!!!! #14 ISN'T The Scarlet Pimpernel!

#8 is from Annie.. and it is sung by Ms. Hanagen, but I don't know the song title.

18. Edward Rutledge, "Molasses to Rum," 1776

DUH!

No. 4 is sung by Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly. The song is Hello Dolly, too.
No. 21 is from Show Boat. I think it is sung by Gaylord Raveneau in Only Make Believe.

Gaylord Raveneau was played by the late and deeply lamented Howard Keel.
