Hey! Nice to see you blogging again. And it's good to know you're instituting the most sacred rule of Transamerica.

When I play Transamerica with my students they're quite vociferous in their complaining, though I'm afraid they can be terribly uncreative. The eighth grade mind can overly focus on lower pursuits. But I actually got to play a game where it was mathematically impossible for me to connect to my cities.

We were playing with the colored tracks and I had Seattle. Due to a glitch in the colored tracks rule it turned out it was actually possible for them to completely block my path to Seattle, with nothing I could do about it. (Seattle has only two entry points, the rule for colored tracks specifically designates that no more than two colored tracks can enter into a hub.) They were very proud of themselves. Actually, they still haven't shut up about it, and this was months ago.

I feel like my card complaining is a lot more justified now.
