One potential problem with Mahir's lawsuit is that one of the emails which made Mahir famous in 1999 (at least an email I received in the UK, when Sacha Baron-Cohen was at the height of his TV-fame) called Mahir's site the "website of a real-life Borat" -- so to a certain extent Mahir got fame and fortune thanks to Sacha Baron-Cohen and not the other way around.

Point well taken Bob. Still don't the "details" bug ya just a little--red speedos and all?
Plus didn't Cohen once remark that the character was inspired by a guy with a psychology doctorate or something? Correct if I'm wrong by all means.
The film is still hilarious anyway ya slice it though.
Thanx for the comment Bob.
