I really had no idea that this was even possible. I suppose I suspected it could be done, but I didn't think people were actually attempting this. I'm not even sure how I feel about these hybrids, but I am glad to know that there are people out there dedicating their lives to aiding these victims of circumstance.

I'm with you, Aloysius- caution is the best way to preserve the nine. Left to my own devices, I still wouldn't wander far. However, Sophie (that feline demoness!) has been plotting ways to climb up and over since we arrived here in Chicago. She got as far as the top of the wall, looked over and came to her senses when she realized it was another walled yard, with NO trees to climb.

This is really disgusting ! What humans are able to do. These poor "cats" will meet water buckets all the time. Fortunately there are also once who are rescuing these cats. I would never ever believed that this was possible.
