That's interesting ! I didn't even know that black squirrels exist ! Here in Belgium and Germany they are red brown while in the UK I only saw dark grey once and much bigger then ours. But black, never !

I thought it was just a Washington, DC thing. Never knew other places had 'em. Canadians loosed them in Nineteen aught something.

There are lots of black squirrels here in Toronto, Ontario, which really doesn't count as a "french-speaking" province. I once saw one catch and eat a small bird, I don't know who was shocked more.
