so were you going for the complete north ridge or the upper? You might have been able to climb the gulley up to the rad bivy site and just stay there that night. then the next day isn't too bad, well unless you could bitchin' 5.9 hands and some lovely offwidth topped with choss surfing for 6,000 feet.

We were planning on the upper ridge. We did really miss out on a perfect day! Maybe next year I will try the full ridge! I can't wait to get on that sweet granite!
