Fishbone. Absolutely an underrated band and what a crazy story with the kidnapping and all. When I saw them after the release of "Give a Monkey a Brain..." (admittedly not their best album, but a classic album cover) I was thrilled when they threw the keyboard into the audience for a little crowd-surfing. No matter the quality of the album they were touring on, that was one badass show.

Gravatar pretenders and television both almost made it in for me - I don't understand how Marquee Moon gets left off of so many "Greatest Debut" lists. And how can't I like Chrissie Hynde? I mean, AKRON...

Gravatar Fishbone definitely is still the best live rock act. almost 20 years after truth and soul they still play their hearts out for audiences all over the world. they just released their 8th album "still stuck in your throat"

Gravatar Actually, The Joshua Tree has slipped for me over the years. It's fine and all, but I don't really get into it and haven't in a long time. I'd far rather listen to War or Achtung Baby.
