The two Live in Rio discs are a lot of fun.
Rod Stewart is the only thing I hold against Jeff Beck.
Rod was virtually the sole interface between glam and white trash where I grew up. Some people try and stake out a brief period where he didn't suck, but the suck was always there, lurking behind the not quite suck.
I'm not in a position to view the videos, but any discussion of this sort of thing has to include Stewart's butchering of Tom Waits' Downtown Train.
