Glad to see this back. I realize it was lots of work, and you may have been bored, but for what it's worth, I always enjoyed the weekly updates (and watching you deal with Denver going 7-9 on a weekly basis was fun, too).

Gravatar I know, the first losing season in a decade was really rough...much rougher than the mundane experience of consistent losing season. Some teams have standards and, when those fail, it really does suck.

Maybe I'll write them more often, depending on how I feel.

Gravatar "Joey Galloway-style trades" is my new favorite tag.

Gravatar Well done on the subtle Browns-dig, sir. But I'm a Cleveland fan - we're so used to losing (and not winning titles, which is a bit different), it is way too little to penetrate thick losers-skin.

Gravatar Er, Go Cowboys...!...? (*sob*)

Also, I'm glad these are back, too.

Gravatar Charlie Frye is my new hero.

Gravatar your site is simply rocking!!!!!!!!1

lance and dude

Gravatar I knew, all along, that you were just waiting for the Skins to lose a game before you started these up again.

Gravatar Just a quick comparison between the "great" adrian peterson, and the "isn't great" reggie bush:

Bush has 239 rush yds and 361 rec yds for a total of: 600 yds and 5 tds.

Peterson has 563 rush yds and 56 rec yds for a total of: 619 yds and 3 tds.

And, of course, Bush is leading the league with 26.9 yds/punt return with 3 more tds, nearly 5 times the average of greatest returner of all-time, "why do they kick to him" Devin Hester. Even without those two punt returns against Minnesota, Bush would still be averaging 16.75 yds/punt return -- still good enough for best in the league.

I'm just saying.

Gravatar I'll concede that Reggie Bush is a good punt returner. This, however, is about all he's good at in the NFL. Well, except for running side to side for sixty yards and gaining two. I've been opposed to his greatness since his USC days when, while he was the flashy back in a hot, albeit abhorrent, system, LenDale White is the man who holds the Trojans' touchdown record. TDs mean a hell of a lot more to me than flashy plays.

As a Denver fan, who have had something like three kick returns for touchdowns in their entire history, I tend to look at those plays as an unnecessary luxury.

Gravatar Oh, yeah, and go Redskins! Clinton who?

Gravatar Hey Lyrad--after your Broncos laid a giant egg yesterday, I'm waiting for your AFC update!
