Keep in mind that East Jerusalem, prior to 1948, was where the Jewish Quarter was. All of those Jews were expelled in 1948.

Now if 19 years of possession by the Arabs gives them a right to East Jerusalem, then how come 40 years of possession doesn't give Israel a right to the West Bank?
