The video is very powerful and moving. It makes me want to drop everything and go over there, a foolish idea, but at least it gives me more evidence this war just isnt' worth it. Good job, Amal.

I don't even know which blog this haloscan was from, just saw that someone clicked over to Doc in the Box using the name canuckistani. If you go to your haloscan control panel, it will show different IP addresses. I have no idea why he's using my blog address, it's a mystery.

It is a very moving video. I'm a little concerned that many of the pictures are taken out of context. Many of the killed and wounded civilians depicted were likely victims of car bombings and other insurgent activity in the country. Also the suggestion at the end that we remove all the troops immediatly could be even more devastating to the country. Perhaps if the international community would stop pointing fingers and provide some real support with both humanitarian aid and policing we might stop seeing such tragic loss of life and instability in Iraq. Just a thought.

ALL the people in the video were victims of Americans shooting them on the street or our bombing of cities.
ALL of them. Not one was from an Iraqi doing anything. The research for that song's pictures was 100% spot on.

I have no idea why I came up connected with Doc in A Box. Perhaps I have some virus affecting my postings. Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted to acknowledge the moving video.

As a Canadian, I have never supported the Iraq war. And I think that the Americans have gotten themselves neck-deep in a world of shit.
What I don't understand is this... The whole thing seems to be an American Invasion of Iraq, rather than a war. Those Iraqis who stand to defend their country from these invaders, are eliminated and labelled as "insurgents".
Why do the Americans not recognize these "insurgents" as people who are standing up for their country - the smae way that the Americans would in the same situation?
An INCREDIBLE video.
