What a nice post. I think you had quite a productive day. It is hard to get anything done with little ones in the house. We have that same book "Stinky face". My kids love it.

Thanks for sharing.

Gravatar Good day for you. How do you sew with kids underfoot? I must have concentration issues, because I don't think I could do it.

Gravatar Thanks for sharing, Amanda! Looks like it was a good day.

I love the quilt on your bed. Very pretty

Gravatar When I wash the stove like that I call it "detailing" - you know, like men do to their cars? It sounds so much more significant... "Yeah, I detailed the stove today".

Anyone see my armor-all?

Gravatar Good meatloaf falls apart. I hate the dense slabs of meat the texture of cardboard that most restaurants serve. Think of it as "deconstructed Nouveau Americana" cuisine.

I showed E the dress. She was tactful enough not to ask, "what's a sewing machine"?

Gravatar I thought you were extremely productive. You watched and cared for two little ones. Kept the house in order and cleaned the kitchen. Yes you have some scattered toys around but that is part of actually using and living in a house. It is by no means out of control or dirty. You also found time to work on a sewing project and cook a wonderful dinner. I think you accomplished a lot for a Saturday. Have a great Sunday. I am procrastinating getting anything done today.

Gravatar Swimr, my mom made the quilt; an early wedding present. It was her first--and she says last--Double Wedding Ring quilt.

Tia, I can't sew just anything when the kids are around. That's why I'm getting more into quilting again. I pin a bunch of stuff while they're in bed, and then when they're awake, I can just assembly-line sew. As long as it's straight, I'm generally okay.

Gravatar Amanda, I know what you can do with all of the cookbooks you have lying around! You can compile your favorite recipes from each into an e-book, and sell it to your readers for 8.00. Just make sure you include instructions on which utensil to serve with for the more advanced home cook.

Gravatar Wow, you did better then I did. All I did on Saturday was watch Barrett Jackson! lol

Gravatar You have beautiful children! I'm impressed with how productive you are with two children in tow. Thanks for sharing!

Gravatar What a fun idea! I'm not sure I would have the presence of mind to keep track of a whole day with my camera, but I might try!

I think you got quite a bit done, considering having to tend two little ones. And if I looked as great as you do without makeup, I'd never buy it!

Gravatar I love the picture of you and The Girl! How cute! And your livingroom at the end of the night, pfft! I should put my pictures up of what Briana does to my house everyday! LOL! Hmmm, maybe I'll do that. Isn't that what my blog is for? To embarrass myself?

Gravatar You sure seem productive to me. My Saturday consisted of me sitting on my butt watching movies on the computer while the kids played outside.

Gravatar LOL! Great post! You should consider twitter-ing! www.twitter.com

Gravatar i LOVED THIS POST AND i JUST FOUND YOUR BLOG! Your kids are adorable and I love the upbeat atpnoshpere (sp?) on your blog!

Gravatar Amanda, what a fun post! I really enjoyed looking at all the pictures and seeing how your day went.

Plus, your commentary was funny. :D
Hope you've been having a great week so far!

P.s.
I think you look beautiful without makeup!
