As I have argued before. . .Clinton is finished if Obama wins. She'll forever be a has-been.
McCain, on the other hand, is older. Possibly only a one term President anyway (and he can hint at this if it helps).
If Obama implodes, and McCain wins, Hilla has an opportunity in 2012 to be the alternative the dummies should have picked in 2008. If she REALLY wants to be President, her best move is to cripple Obama all she can by staying in as long as possible -- doing what she can to make the breach between the groups you describe and the far left that worships Obama permanent.
Then she can make a dramatic concession at the convention, which the Demos (stupidly grateful that she's taking her demotion so well) will hype into a big emotional speech. Then she goes home and makes a show -- but does nothing to help Obama. When, and if, Obama implodes, she can pick up the pieces.
It won't be her fault. It will be racist middle America, John McCain and George Bush to blame. The lefties will be happy, because their prejudices against their own country are vindicated. Hillary will be happy, because she gets another shot. Obama will be a man of principle who can write books and appear on talk shows, secure in the naive belief that he'll get another chance. Everybody will be happy but Michelle.

It's amazing how minority politicians who "hate" racism depend so much on race to win. There are many blacks and many women who would do well in high office, but they would run on their beliefs, ideals, and agenda, not their skin color or gender.

State Package for Hillary Clinton
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may tread me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
This is not the first time you have seen Hillary Clinton seemingly at her wits' end, but she has always risen, always risen, don't forget she has always risen, much to the dismay of her adversaries and the delight of her friends.
Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks of you is that you do not give up on her.
There is a world of difference between being a woman and being an old female. If you're born a girl, grow up, and live long enough, you can become an old female. But to become a woman is a serious matter. A woman takes responsibility for the time she takes up and the space she occupies. Hillary Clinton is a woman. She has been there and done that and has still risen. She is in this race for the long haul. She intends to make a difference in our country. Hillary Clinton intends to help our country to be what it can become.
She declares she wants to see more smiles in the family, more courtesies between men and women, more honesty in the marketplace. She is the prayer of every woman and man who longs for fair play, healthy families, good schools, and a balanced economy.
She means to rise.
Don't give up on Hillary. In fact, if you help her to rise, you will rise with her and help her make this country the wonderful, wonderful place where every man and every woman can live freely without sanctimonious piety and without crippling fear.
Rise, Hillary.
Rise.

My husband is a well-rounded historian who recently made a very interesting comment to me regarding Hillary Clinton. So fascinating, in fact, that I feel compelled to share this information with you now.
He pointed out a--now seemingly obvious--personality flaw for which Hillary Clinton most certainly possesses. An imperfection that truly should NOT be overlooked because it could prove to be detrimental to the American people given particular circumstances.
Hillary's refusal to accept defeat when he chances are basically impossible, especially while being able to do so with at least some shred of dignity left, should be of tremendous concern to the American people. When you think of prior, powerful worldly leaders who have exhibited the same type of unfounded determination, one can
’t help but to admit that Adolf Hitler also behaved this way early on in his political career. Perhaps this personality glitch (if you will) drives people to dislike her on some level.

Give Sen Clinton Mi and FL base it on the average that she won iin states which is 52 %
Clinton 1686 + 52% of 368 = 1876
Obama 1845 + 48% of 368 = 2021
Go Obama / Edwards 08

Are you kidding me? Neither O'Bama, nor Hillary will win without the other. They both have dedicated voters who will vote for McCain before they will vote for the other candidate - but a Hillary/O'Bama ticket - experience + hope w/o politics as usual - THAT will win. If Limbaugh AND Hamas are "endorsing" O'Bama - then O'Bama needs Hillary (and Bill). Superdelegates who jump to O'Bama now are thinking Democratic vote - not popular, independent, overall vote. If we truly want change, we need Hillary & O'Bama together...

Please... someone tell me... What does Obama have to do to convince the Super Delegates who are "undecided" that he (in all practicality) won the nomination? What is the hold up? What is there to see? I understand that many feel a certain level of loyalty towards Hillary but then that raises the question if these Super Delegates care more about the Clinton's then about the country. I love Hillary, in California I made the mistake of voting for her because I did not know Obama like I do now. However, I think it's time for Hillary to quit while she still has her dignity. I understand that it's easier said then done; after all this is what any politician aspires to in their life time. I know it's no easy. However, if those "loyal" Super Delegates who are "undecided" TRULY appreciate the Clinton's, they will advice her that the time has come to hang the towel. I give my respects to Hillary and her campaign; they ran a though fight. Now however, is the time to unite the party and get behind the candidate that won the Nomination...

I feel sorry for Hillary Clinton. She had to borrow money to finance her campaign. How will she be able to pay it back?
This is a poor reflection on how she manages her finances. Is this the kind of president you want? A president who is short-sighted? A president that has short term goals? A president who doesn't know when to stop? (Our present president is oblivious to the cost of the war in Iraq - many lives were lost, countless billions wasted)
I think it is time for change. A change that we can believe in. A change where we can all make a difference.

Obama's all but won so why the wait? Why is the Democrat machine dragging this on? Does she still have dignity as Juan has suggested? Well whatever dignity she still posseses will fast disappear if she doesn't concede soon. Hillary is on the ropes! Look I'd rather Hillary than Obama but I feel the writings on the wall. In any event I'm eager to see McCain focus on a Dem nominee, time the battle lines are drawn. Does anyone agree?

"Hillary's refusal to accept defeat when the chances are basically impossible, especially while being able to do so with at least some shred of dignity left, should be of tremendous concern to the American people."
Actually I'd probably see that as more of an asset a than a liability, particularly in a war leader (which is what she's going to be). After all, plenty of people wanted Churchill to accept defeat in 1940...

You Obama supporters are delusional, yes he promises change and hope for the future but he does not state HOW he plans to do it. He is full of empty promises. Obama does not have enough experience to run our country.
At least Clinton is being realistic about the issues she is advocating. Im sick of people saying she should just give up, NO! she is still in this race and thats what I love about her, she doesn't give up.
It's really unfortunate that most men have a hard time supporting hillary because she is a woman.
The heirarchy in our society has hardly changed over the past century its basically, the white man, the black man, then the woman.
If hillary isnt the nominee, (obama vs mcCain) mcCain is going to win.
This is the way I feel if it comes down to obama vs mcCain, mcCain would win solely because a lot of people are afraid of obama, and it does have to do with the race issue. If it were Clinton vs mcCain it is basically a gender issue. Clinton has a better chance of beating mcCain then obama.
So all these on-the-fence superdelegates who dont want to end up with another republican president should think about this!

One of the main problems with Hillary Clinton's strategy, is that she is relying on the results of the Indiana primary, as if those results are reliable. Indiana is the most racist state in America, I know, because I have lived here my whole life. In most of the rural counties, where Hillary took 75% to 90% of the popular vote, the sentiment is the same: "I ain't electin' no negro to be president!" I wish this were not true, but it is. It makes me so ashamed to be a Hoosier.
At any rate, you could travel the whole country over, and not find such large pockets of racism as you will find here in Indiana. If you don't believe me, you should visit a town like Martinsville, where there are more Confederate Flags per capita than any other municipality in America (and coincidentally where there was a sign at the western border of the town that read: "Don't let the sun set on your black ass!" through the 1980s.

Regardless if you are a Clinton supporter or not....we all have the media to blame forcing Billary on us every since her questionable Senate race in 2000. If she was never married to a president...No one would have ever heard of Billary. She is merely a coat tale politician that had no real experience just a last name that she married. She had questionable practices during her legal days working for a small lawfirm.
Here's the bottom line.....WE ALL have contributed to her campaign whether you wanted to or not. Who do you think pays for every trip that her husband makes on her behalf??? The US Taxpayer...yes.... The Secret Service needs to arrive before the former prez ever gets there so there all that expense that no one is talking about. I know we will never see what the real expense is to the tax payer to support her campaign but it will be well over a million dollars. And the longer she drags this out, she is punishing every single US taxpayer. Even if the government bills her for all this service...do you ever think she will pay for it since all the Clintons think they deserve it.
Also, with every one that is struggling to pay a mortgage....here's is something else to ponder. Billary wants to help you out in some fashion...but.....and here's the kicker...The Clintons bill the US government for the expense to have the US Secret Service at their residence in NY. And its exact amount of their monthly mortgage payment......Who's the elist now???

Go Hillary! Most qualified candidate running for President in 2008! No wonder the others want her out. Hillary Clinton for President! 2008 Election! DNC for Dumbest Political Party operating in 2008. Awarded for amazingly convoluted "primary/caucus/proportional representation" system that prevented the will of the people by eliminating winner take all primaries. The DNC: we will crush one person/one vote, even if it kills us.

Dude the government is suppose to pay for the secret service, why should former presidents have to pay for their own protection? So yea it IS coming out of taxpaper money because we fund our government.
Are you really bringing up the issue of corruption? Look at all the recent scandals with governors and senators using TAXPAYER money to sleep with prostitues. The amount of money spent isnt known but probably ranging in the thousands+. I would rather see our money going to help a financial situation then for some old fuck to get laid.
You can't blame hillary for marrying a man BEFORE he became president, and nicknaming her 'billary' is just fucking stupid.
And you're naive if you don't know by now that to get anywhere in the corporate/political world its all about who you know.

We need some clear-headed thinking if we democrats are going to win the general election. Barack Obama has little to no experience to qualify him for the presidency. Realistically, with his limited experience, would he have much of a chance of being selected as a CEO of a major American corporation? Why then, with this limited experience, do some think he is qualified to be President of the nation? Do we demand less experience of the President of the nation than a CEO of one of the nation's business entities? Or do we think that on-the-job training will somehow prepare him for the position within a few months of taking office?
By attempting to make this major leap from a first term senator to the presidency, Barack is stretching the political envelope too strenuously and too fast. Failure will set the clock back on the political aspirations of black Americans for generations. It is a big big gamble! Barack should settle this time around for the vice presidency or some major position in a democratic administration, and when he has demonstrated his skills and grown in political wisdom and stature, he will be better prepared to serve his country as President and Commander in Chief.
As of now, it seems to me that most voters, when the chips are on the table in the November elections, will not select Barack Obama. Most voters will see it as too big a gamble, too great a risk. They will opt for the lesser of two evils and cast their lot with a grey-haired known entity rather than an untried and unknown entity no matter how well spoken. Democrats and super-delegates must take a long hard look at this probability and act in the best interest of all Americans.

It appears as if Obama might win..but Hillary sill has a very viable chance
WAR has now broken out in Beirut
this is not a negative ad , this is VERY REAL

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Fierce clashes raged in Beirut on Thursday after the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah said the U.S.-supported Lebanese government had declared war by targeting its communications network.
Security sources said the fighting killed at least five people and wounded 12.
The street confrontations have aggravated the worst internal crisis since the 1975-90 civil war and exacerbated sectarian tension between Sunni Muslims loyal to the government and Shi'ites who support the opposition.
The U.N. Security Council called for "calm and restraint", urging all sides to return to peaceful dialogue, while the White House urged Hezbollah to stop "disruptive" acts "
who do you trust to actually know what to do ? Your first instinct !!!! That should tell you something .... who do you really trust and want to handle this ??

America should not be about BLACK or WHITE. America should not be about color. America should not be about race.
America has forgotten what their forefathers have built for them.
If America will not unite, it will lead to their downfall.
You talk about inexperience. Previous presidents and other political figures around the world did not have enough experience to lead their people, yet they were able to make their countries better. They were good enough to make a change in their own countries and even throughout the world.
America is afraid of change. America is afraid to unite. America is doomed.

Would someone explain to me why SOME of Hillary's supporters are rabid , hate-filled, and fair-weathered Democrats? You want to believe they have some sense of intelligence. But to constantly hear, " I won't vote for Obama if he wins the nomination" crap, is just that...CRAP! Stop acting like a bunch of snot-nose crybaby. The Democrats will win the White House. It's amazing that Obama supporter is willing to hold their nose and pull the lever for her if needed. At least her supporter should be willing to do the same. If not, please identify yourself as Republican and have at it. And while you are at it, take credit for the War in Iraq, the economic fiasco, the Abu Griab fiasco, the Department of Justice no justice, the Katrina situation, the increase in crime, the housing bubble, the tax credit for rich and not you, and so on and so on. GET REAL!
As far as the race baiting... Both Clintons are playing those cards for all it's worth.
Oh, this nonsense that Obama took the oath of office on the Koran. The person that suggested this nonsense took their oath of office on Hitler's Mein Kempf.

Hillary Clinton and her followers are a spiteful, hateful bunch, who are as mean spirited as any mean spirited Republican I have come across. Hillary to call yourself a Democrat is stretching the truth, but that is what you do best. You will do anything to win and that includes backstabbing a member of your own party. You have caused division within the Democratic party. You insist that Obama can't win without the "hard working white blue collar workers", when you know that your husband Bill Clinton lost those same "hard working white blue collar workers" and still managed to WIN the General election. All this talk about you supporting the winner 100% and the party coming together for the General election, is as fake as your smile. Surely, if you are commited to helping Obama attract the white blue collar vote and non college educated white voters, there should not be a problem, unless you are still lying about your intentions to the American people. In future please refer to us as OBAMA supporters and STOP trying to divide us by negative or stereotypical handles.
