Oh now I KNOW you are not hatin' on my girl Leslie. So she's a little, er, loose onstage. I love that about her. It's a nice refreshing change from the parade of robotic pretty princesses this show enjoys force-feeding its viewing audience. Besides, she's got the most gorgeous, interesting, warm-honey tone to her voice. And the boots rocked.
Hmmmm...Despite what you think you "know" I DID actually hate on Leslie. I think that "That crazy bitch scares me" leaves little room for ambiguity.
I didn't dig Leslie last night either but I do think it was more song choice than anything else. I can tell there's an interesting voice there but I think she should steer clear of Aretha. I'm curious to see what she does next week.
