See, now I AM kinda a theater nerd...and I cringed inside when I heard they were doing Webber.
Phantom is kind-of like holy grail territory for me, and um...Think of Me is a GIRL'S SONG. Totally. I don't even know what to think about what he did to that.
As far as David. Um, Gerard Butler is my future husband, and if you want to hear how it's SUPPOSED to be sung, look it up on on youtube. "Music of the Night" and "Gerard Butler". Do it. I'll wait.
See?

For all the fellating of David Cook going on, did NO ONE notice he was FLAT? I mean, like, BROOKE flat? God. Hate.
I think our sweet boyfriend JC is doomed. ::sob:: I agree with your bottom three, but imo, Syesha was too improved to ignore (THIS WEEK).

I agree with Lisa--why why why didn't JC do something cooler? That clip when he said he didn't know it was a cat singing the song caused a double spit-take at our house.

I was such a fan of hers in the beginning. I think she started to go down hill for her when she started talking so much. I'm going to lose the office pool now! I picked her as the winner.

Lisa, yeah...David Cook was totally flat. He can't do low notes at ALL...and um, Music of the Night has a LOT of them...hello!
Sure he hit the high one in the middle...and the one at the end (even though it doesn't EXIST in the actual song)...but, he screwed up the words, too.
The floating, falling bit...he switched it around. No one would notice unless they're a total Phantom nerd like me, but I think there are a lot of us....
Unfortunately, he'll sail through. *sigh*

Word, y'all. David Cook sucked, as he always does (in my opinion). Had anyone else turned in that performance, they would have been panned. As far as the judges are concerned, David shits rainbows. It's so gross.
