Didn't read the article, but just judging from the title I would comment that if they really wanted to combat the delcline of priests and nuns, maybe they should focus on doctrine and fidelity to the Church instead of "postive."

Well, I agree with Aristotle & co. that man was made for happiness . . . and with Aquinas & co. that such Happiness can only be found in God. Discerning the telos isn't such a bad place to begin in the discerning of one's vocation. (Re: That whole pleasure vs. happiness debate that was very alive and settled in the pre-1965 Church that had so many religious.)
