The error of this book (and movie) appear to be taylor-made for the prevailing mentality of the contemporary Western society.

The ideas of this crappy book, shamefuly presented as if they were historical facts, coupled with the desire of many to always blame the Church of God for some conspiracy, and to reject Her Truths as human creations, together with the predisposition of many to accept thegnostic idea that there are well kept secrets to be uncovered regarding Christ, will do (is doing) serious harm to the salvation of the souls.

This book and the aims of its Author are truly diabolical, and its success, and the spread of its errors as if they were facts, is the consequence of poor historical instruction and even worse catechetical formation.

Due to the harm that this book is doing and that the movie will certainly do, by spreading among non-Chistians and poorly-instructed Christians alike, impregnating heresy and apostasy in the minds of millions, it is the duty of every Catholic to boycott this movie.

We are one billion Catholics on this Earth; if half of us boycotted this movie (and that boycott figure would be much better than what I expect the real one to be, 50% would be a true blessing), then the motion picture industry would never again dare promote a movie of this sort.
