Man, my blood boils just hearing Prof. Silver knowingly and deliberatly lie that...he knows there's a difference in kind between skin cells and embryos. I like Colbert but I wish he would have cut the sarcasm for once and mopped the floor with Silver...everyone knows and learned in high school that embroys are human life, regardless what the look like.

I don't believe Pro.Silver 'knowingly lied.' There is a fundamental difference in opinion here and that doesn't mean either side is lying. He believes embryos (blastocysts really) are simply a collection of cells with no mental life and he is right in that sense. The debate is about when human life begins and he disagrees with you. If a blastocyst is human life, then why isn't sperm?
As nice as it is that Stephen has a wide variety of fans, it's worth noting that when you expect smackdowns of Liberals on the show, it's 'Stephen' at work, not Stephen. Mr Colbert is a Catholic, but he is also a pro-choice, pro-stem cell research, and pro-gay marriage/rights Catholic.
