I'm speachless. I don't think that any given celebrities public apology has ever impressed me more. Gibson seems to really want to make real changes. I'll continue to pray for him and his family.

It amazes me that some people believe they are perfect. We as christians are to take an apology except it then pray for the soul of that person! When one hurts so do the rest, we then help by praying and then taking stock of our own lives and then changing what we each need to!

On CNN today, some sort of "crisis assessor" (or whatever they call them) said that an unnamed studio exec said to him that he didn't care if Gibson opened an orphanage in Israel while on his knees, they weren't going to forgive him. Sigh. We'll just have to wait to see what pans out. What worries me is that _genuine_ anti-Semites will now be sidling up to the Mel side with a wink, figuring that they know how he _really_ feels, and want to "stand behind" him. Please, Lord, no . . . .
