(In his trip to Istanbul in 1967, Pope Paul VI, overwhelmed with emotion, knelt in prayer. It was the first public demonstration of Christian prayer in Hagia Sophia since 1453. Needless to say that the Turks were not quite pleased with the Pope’s reaction).

Too bad for the Turks. It's the Church of the Holy Wisdom; it's ours, they stole it. I would kneel and pray there too. I hope and pray that Benedict does the same too.
