I'm glad he took action too "after receiving complaints from across Canada"! I don't know the man other than from this article, but is it too cynical to ask what he would have done had there been no complaints?

Doc Angelus is right. If he's such a good bishop, he should have taken care of this for moral reasons before it blew up publicly. Now he's scurrying to clean up the mess because of public pressure. The fact that an institution bearing the name Catholic can do this against the bishop shows the moral impotency of the episcopacy in Canada.
