So, did he or didn't he?

Giving Hudson the benefit of the doubt... It is a common practice in Eastern Catholic circles to have a priest bless a house before a new family moves in. Very often, this blessing includes a short exorcism ritual, like the exorcism ritual given during a baptism. Perhaps Rove just wanted his office blessed as a way of starting his new job on a good foot? However, it would be easy to point fingers because it was Hilary's office and she supposedly channelled the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt. Maybe what Hudson saw was a general office blessing?

Is Rove an Eastern Catholic?...but yes, an office blessing is certainly a reasonable hypothesis here. But then, shouldn't Hudson have known the difference?

Gravatar I didn't think you could exorcise a room - just a person. Having said that, were I using HRC's office, I am sure I would be inclined to be liberal with the Holy Water.

All I can think of is the scene from The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy throws water on the Wicked Witch of the West. "I'm meltiiiinnnnggggggg...."

Gravatar I remember that day. I felt a sudden disturbance in the force, as if millions of souls were crying out and suddenly silenced.
