We should not ignore Milingo. We should pray fervently for his salvation and that of those who follow him.

Hmmm . . . that actually was a pretty savvy way to do it, I think.
He's attempting to cover over his defiance with seeming love and reverence. However illogical it may seem, it's a smart play nonetheless. For those who can't, or choose not, to think deeply about these matters, it may work in muddling up the real issues.
Combine that with what we saw in the photographs -- it seems they tried to be very traditional in the rites. Again -- savvy. Makes them look that much more Catholic to the inattentive (unlike those unfortunate women who seemed to invent their own rituals and rubrics).
And immediately ordaining bishops was also savvy, and shows these folks aren't just playing priest, the way the ladies on the boat seemed to do.
The saving grace -- as it were -- in all this may be Milingo's association with the Unification Church. Even the Church-hating folks find that disturbing.
But before we get too hopeful, consider: Milingo may be a pawn of someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if we see him jettisoned, now that he's no longer needed. As Don Michael said in Godfather III, "our true enemy has not yet shown his face."

Fr. Fox is right (though quoting anything from GF3 is a waste of time as the movie stinks to high Heaven!) Also, Check out his website, he shows a wisdom beyond his years (even though he apparently does not yet read my blog).
I think it sort of suspect. I mean here's this guy a couple years ago "criticized the Roman Catholic Church for its toleration of homosexuality and broken vows of celibacy among the priesthood"
and "He became a supporter of Reverend Sun Myung Moon and his Unification Church"

The poor man suffers from our shared condition...terminal insanity caused by sin. But who of us can recognize our own madness? But for the grace...
If people want to follow a true and only man of truth they should follow Lord Jesus. The Pope knows the truth - that of Lord Jesus in the Bible. But instead some in our Roman Catholic Church will have us forget God's word in the Bible and focus on man's truth instead.
This is a problem for you and me. Who do you trust ? God or man? God that has reigned since creation and still reigns today or a man that has only lived some 70 years?
Lets look at just one of them. The Pope says that Sunday is the Sabbath now. That the Roman Bishop back in old times - of the Roman Bishop Church - had the right to change it.
Yet Lord Jesus was at Creation when the Sabbath was created by God.
Lord Jeuss said "I am the Alpha and Omega" (Revelation 1:8), and this is reaffirmed by Lord Jesus again in ..."I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"John 8:58. Clearly Lord Jesus was at Creation and is forever watching our actions and adding these to our own personal "book of life"
"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:19
So clearly we need to not only love Lord Jesus but abide by the very commandments of God (and Lord Jesus). .
"but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments". Deuteronomy 5:9-11
And this keeping ALL the commandments is defined by Lord Jesus himself as showing love to him - "If ye love me, keep my commandments". John 14.15. Jesus didn't say if you love me do as you please. Nor did he say if you love me do as other men please. Are we following God's law or some mere man. The Pope is not created by God as your master, to rule over you.
You are only accountable under Lord Jesus and God's words of love in the Bible. And remember God forcast that man will try to suppress the truth so we have been warned to stand guard of the truth and not be fooled like Eve by 'sense', 'lust' and 'eyes' and 'ears'
"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness," Romans 1.18
"Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies." Psalm 40.4.
"To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress." Proverbs 28.21.
And just in case we confuse respect with reverence... we should only revere our God " 'Each of you must respect his mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 19:3
" 'Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.Leviticus 19:32
'So be careful to do what the LORD your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in all the way that the LORD your God
