I was born and raised in MO and I cannot believe that such convoluted language can be put on a ballot. My dear sainted Mother told me this weekend that she voted for this amendment by absentee. She said she thought it would help really sick people.
It makes me ill to think that people are being deceived by the language of the ballot.

Greetings from the "CLONE ME State!" Personally, I'm praying for bad weather on November 7th, especially around St. Louis and Kansas City. It might keep some people away from the polls -- especially those most likely to vote for Amendment 2 out of ignorance of what the proposition is.

One of the many infuriating things about this is that some millionaire couple from Kansas City who own (surprise, surprise) a medical research company have financed the vast majority of this. After the voters vote "yes for access to cures" the research company will have unlimited access to our tax dollars because it will be unconstitutional in Missouri to withold state or local funds from them. What a deal!
