Caviezel at the beginning of the ad....
He starts with a syllable that begins with the letter L, which indicates a "no" or "not".
My guess is he is saying "Don't do it" or "Don't be deceived"-- since that message is repeated throughout the ad.
Jimmy Akin has been studying Aramaic, I believe.
You could also ask your Chaldean Catholic friends. They use Aramaic in their liturgy.

This had me thinking, if Michael J. Fox was not a recognizable celebrity but Average Joe Citizen, would they be regarding him as a hero or would they look on him as somebody who has a bad quality of life and should be mercifully put out of his misery.

Isn't MJ Fox still a Canadian, or did he naturalize?
It is really sad to watch otherwise extremely likable actors go over to the dark side because they cannot stand the temptation (there but for the grace of God go I). Both MJF and Christopher Reeves were lured into the embryonic stem cell research/use the helpless to cure my illness camp because they could personally benefit from the research (or so they think -- another superstition of the time. They are such corporate feebs).
Now Reeves' suffering on Earth has ended. I do not know his eternal reward but I take his life as an example of running the good race to the end.
Both men are just too blinded by the veil to completely understand the depth of their evil.
But ...
Who can't say that?

I only heard the ad once and am pretty certain Caviezel was using a virtually extinct dialect similar to Aramaic, but very different in certain regards, and easily misunderstood. I am quite familiar with this dialect, due to some of my travels over the years.
My translation of Caviezel's comment was as follows: "I love AmericanPapist.com and encourage everyone to check it out daily."
I could be wrong about this, but am pretty certain that's what he said.

"THIS IS HUGE!!"
A few things:
Missouri has some of the best big name Christian athletes of any state. Those were Kurt Warner, Mike Sweeney, and Jeff Suppan.
What providence that Suppan is the starting pitcher tomorrow night. (I just heard Jeff Suppan's pre-game press conference and I'm surprised no pesky reporter brought it up.)
What providence that the World Series game is in St. Louis Missouri.
A funnier thing is that I've been planning a huge World Series party for this game in my campus center in front of our huge pull down big screen projector. We'll have lots of folks where I go to school hearing the pro-life message as well.
I'll give a big exclaimation point at the end of the ad.
Miracle with a capital 'M'.

It would seem to make sense that whatever he said in Aramaic at the beginning of the ad was then translated into English at the end. And in fact, it seems that's just what he did.

Both Jeff Suppan and Mike Sweeney are huge Catholics, both have appeared on Life on the Rock. Suppan made Catholic news last year when he went to Rome on a pilgrimage and got so nervous when he was supposed to meet the Pope that he couldn't say anything.
Sweeney recently had Bishop Finn of Kansas City say a Mass in the Royals clubhouse (Rocco covered it a few weeks back).
Thank God for these two men (and Kurt Warner, Patricia Heaton, and Jim Caviezel).

I would agree that it seems they translate the beginning at the end.

I live here in St. Louis, home of the World-Series-winners-to-be. What strikes me odd is that the only time I ever hear my state called "Missouruh" is in political ads, because the pols want to relate to the farmers. That Michael J. Fox, whom I loved as Alex P. Keaton and who used to say "I'm soory" with the Canadian accent, would say "Missouruh" here shows how he really is just an actor.

"L'bar nash b'nashak."
"The son of man with a kiss."
Jesus doesn't have to use verbs, or even make sense. He just has to show up every once in a while and put sick people in their place.
