I agree with you Thomas, and hoped that you would have written something about this one. It's pretty shocking. Even the reference of meat to women is cruel, and not only that but saying it's the Meats fault that the cat eats it. Weird. I really tried hard to be as understanding as I could toward him in case his sermon was taken out of context, but it's a bit too clear.
Thanks

Woman are not Satan's soldiers, they his preferred point of attack. It started back in the day when the serpent approached Eve in the Garden. Adam was right there beside her but the snake addressed Eve. It continues to this day. Look at how womanhood and femininity have been attacked in the past few decades especially.
Pray, pray and pray some more.

This isn't shocking to me, I've seen muslims compare unveiled women to exposed candy and such things.
When it comes to sex, muslims (after their prophet) consider themsleves powerless; whereas for Catholics, we are enlightened by the divine teachings of our holy Church and her Doctors, and by the lights of the human intellect, that man has faculties of will and reason that can and should and are able to master carnal passions.

Hello Mr Peters, instead of quoting selected parts, perhaps you can read the entire speech and explain why you disagree with the assertion that what you do is polytheism.

How about before I do that you respond to the Mufti's claim that women are "uncovered meat"? Am I right to disagree with that, would you admit?
Here's another quote of the Mufti: "The Al-Rafihi scholar says in one of his literary works, he says: If I come across a crime of rape - kidnap and violation of honour - I would discipline the man and teach him a lesson in morals, and I would order the woman be arrested and jailed for life."
The Mufti never says he disagrees with this quotation either. The Mufti hasn't received attention for claiming that christians are polytheists (which I'd be happy to discuss), but of his offensive words about women.
