Okay, several thoughts...

Firstly, it isn't just Milingo that they're worried about... How long before another faithless screwball Bishop ordains other unsuitables, or even attempts to puplicly ordain women (my own Bishop is a worry there, with what we call his "court of King Caractacus")...?

Secondly, I'll be interested to see what happens, and I can't helo noticing the contrast here. Archbishop Lefebvre consecrates four Bishops illicitly, using the Traditional Rite then almost banned by the Church after previously being the norm for it, and he and his followers are excommunicated; and all Traditionalists are treated worse than traitors. Milingo illegally ordaines four unsuitable and/or married men to the Priesthood, and they're now talking about relaxing the strictures on married clergy?! That indult had better come soon, then... Grrr.
