The boy looks like he's kissing Papa's ring. For his part, Papa Benedict is quite happy meeting these young people; his good mood has got to be coming across.
Whether the Pope leads a Mass or not, this is the real bones of religious faith, to reach out to someone like this. That boy won't forget this day.
