Thanks for posting this, Thomas. You are right, of course, without the Peace of Christ we have "peace" with conflict. i.e., You stay on your side of the road and I'll stay on mine! True peace is when we can cross over to each other's side and be friends in Christ! In one of Our Lady's apparitions she said, "Just when everyone thinks there is peace, there will come disaster." We also need this Peace of Christ in the Church, which is being torn apart with dissidents and heresy! True peace will come through the intercession of Our Lady, Queen of Peace. May it come soon!

Thanks for posting Pope Benedict's message. That is a great summing up by Pope Benedict of our Catholic faith and its mission. I live in the very orthodox Diocese of Arlington, VA. We had a beautiful Easter service filled with Latin music and traditional hymns.

I know. I looked on the Yahoo headlines, and the headline spun it to be anti-Bush and anti-Iraq war. But his address was not like that at all. They always selectively report his addresses, filtering anything they don't like (e.g. anything on absolute values.)
