Wow! Official Vatican golf umbrellas! I wonder if getting one would help my game?

The people in those photos have a higher tolerance level for poor weather than I possess. This is why when I go to Mass in Rome, we go for the midnight show in St. Peter's for Christmas. Even when weather hasn't cooperated for the few consistories I've been to, a seat indoors works just fine. No sense traveling across the Atlantic and catching pneumonia!

Bill, if you couple the umbrella with the St. Anthony golf balls that they sell in the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception gift shop, there should be no reason for not being a scratch golfer.
Brassband, have you ever wondered about the fact that "Amen Corner" at Augusta happens to conclude on the twelfth hole? Or that #12 sets up a tee shot for a left-handed (sinister) player only to betray him on the following approach shot? I'd also note the clearly Masonic tendencies of the administrative elements at Augusta National . . .

Actually, Amen Corner concludes on Hole #13. #12 is the "toughest short par 3 in golf".

I like the Pope's crosier. It is new, or is it annually brought out for Easter?

Too bad it rained! Feel kinda sorry for the Swiss Guard...but I love the Holy Father's vestments and the crosier he's carrying. Wonder if he'll bring that with him when he comes to America next month?
Umbrellas in the papal colors-I love that, too!
