Looks like Pope Benedict XVI has been a good boy this year.
I get the feeling that there must be a very, very big room full of such "Gifts." His Holiness probably has a full time assistant for cataloging and storing these things and then pulling out the appropriate ones when that head of state returns a few years later to visit again.
