I question whether or not this is a "last" stand. The other day, a pundit calculated that Obama would need to win 85% of the remaining primary delegates to sew up the nomination. Since none of the remaining primaries is winner-take-all, that would seem to be unlikely. A brokered convention is a distinct possibility. I would guess that team Clinton is already working on backroom deals with John Edwards and the uncommitted delegates. It should be fun watching the fur fly at the convention. |
