Gravatar Though commendable, I still see this as being weak. "...from its very beginning" can be interpreted many different ways. "From the moment of conception" would be much more to the point and a strong statement of "LIFE" in the sense that it also defines when life truly begins. As with most of the Bishops statements, it fails to raise expectations and communicate a fullness of truth and presents something that ends up ambiguous, giving those who long for statements of truth some hope but giving those who refuse to believe truth no reason to change. Pray courageously...

Gravatar Our 40 Days for Life core group meets every Sunday, mostly Catholic with very few Protestant members, I hope to use day 4 for opening prayer this week, am not sure how to present the intecessory prayer to Mary tho.

Gravatar Oooh, that's wonderful. Thanks for the link :)

Gravatar I was the producer for the Novena podcast. Glad you like it! A Spanish text edition should be available soon. I did want to clear up a misconception about the Novena Prayer said each day that reads "From sins against human life from its very beginning, deliver us." That prayer was written by Pope John Paul II not the bishops, so we cannot change the text.
