Some of these comments are guilty of equivocating on the word "man". ;)

You all come off as ignorant hicks on this issue. Just because you're willing to sacrifice your reason to deny the existence of Global Warming doesn't mean that you should oppose the measures suggested to end it. One way or another, the environment needs to be protected. How do you rationalize your incessant opposition to that?
Because, as I grow tired of repeating, the actual measures proposed result in HARMING developing countries. Telling an African village they can't build a hydroelectric plant because it may contiminate a stream or produce CO2 leaves them destitute of a utility that provides live-saving services (heat to sterilize water, electricity for operating rooms, etc.)
