Pope Benedict is doing alot of nice ice breaking moves. For instance, he did this really cute little "cmon over here buddy" motion when the president finished his speech and gave him a handshake/minihug.

Great coverage of the Papal trip.

Thank your Father for his excellent comments on the Canon Law aspects of what Papa Benedetto said in the press conference. It is a shame (but no surprize)that the media opts to present excommunication & forbiding Communion as a horrible punishment rather than the truth, that it is actually about "the salvation of souls" (to quote from Dr. Peters blog.)
