I was also there. I have to say I was pretty dissapointed at the number of people that treated the Mass like a sporting event, chanting or chearing during Mass and things like that, as opposed to a sacred prayer.
The Mass itself was pretty good, though.
Shane, that's when the old school Catholic idea of "offering it up" comes to play and that's what I tried to do. I don't how many times I had to tell the adults in front of me, don't worry everyone will get Communion, just be patient and a priest will come. But I do agree that people seemed to forget they were at a Mass.
Far better than the little Donnie Wuerle panderfest and sideshow in DC. Tom
