I have greatly enjoyed The American Papist's coverage of this historic event. I must say, however, that the best photo is the one of the poor family watching the papal limousine pass by from under a line of drying clothes. It seemed to capture the true meaning of the Holy Father's visit; these are the folks who are on his mind and in his prayers, I believe.

I would agree that is a very poignant photo. If you noticed, I specified that *these* three photos I consider to be the best of his *final* day. I specifically posted the photo you mention by itself so it would be able to generate the necessary impact. Thanks for your comment.
