My 18 yo daughter stood firm against her Doctor when urged to have this vaccine. I sat back and watched.
When told it might prevent cancer that can arise from HPV, a common sexually transmitted virus, my daughter informed her that she wasn't going to be sexually active until if/when she was married some day. The Doctor even went so far as to ask her "what if you were raped"? My daughter said "Whatever happens, God's will be done".
This went on for at least 30 minutes with much more back and forth. The Doctor finally asked her if she would at least take the information home with her which she agreed to.
As we left the parking lot she dumped the papers in the trash and said "never"!
Strong willed children are not necessarily a bad thing.

"What if you were raped". Well HPV would be the least concern. HPV is common and not serious and rarely leads to cancer. The way doctors are pushing this you would think they are taking about HIV.
