She can't really win a national election, can she? Please, tell me it's not really going to happen.
When you play Blackjack at the casino, if the dealer shows Ace, you can "surrender" and pull back half your bet. You still lose, but the loss isn't quite as costly. If it really looked like Hillary would win, I'd "surrender" and accept a Democratic victory as long as I could disqualify Clinton.
Rhetoric and hyperbole aside, this woman is dangerous, radical, unqualified, and incompetent. A Hillary presidency could do irreparable harm to this nation.

Thanks for the link. I sent it to all my Catholic friends who suport Mrs. Clinton.

Hillary will bury Guilliani.
Guilliani will disenfranchise and embarrass conservative Catholics and, because he is pro-choice, the average unconnected and un-catechised American Catholic will see Hillary as a perfectly moral choice.
What's more, they will be really motivated to vote for her while pro-lifers will only grudgingly give Guilliani the vote. Advantage: Hillary.
This election is going to be hot and the base needs to be energized to win. The supposed middle vote that Guilliani thinks he can win will only provide a nominal boost.
It will not be enough.
At this point, anyone would be better than Guilliani.

the overstatement of her faults is the best thing Mrs. Clinton has going for her. When voters take a second look at her and find she is not the Devil incarnate, they lose trust in her critics and take her more seriously. Overplaying one's hand is bad in cards and bad in politics.

Hillary is arguably a more moral choice than Rudy, all things considered. That you imply that it would take an "unconnected and un-catechised American Catholic" to see her as superior is proof that you are a typical Republican-brainwashed politically conservative American Catholic.

What exactly does Hilary bring to the table? Nothing. Except being the first lady. Aside for that. Nada, nil, zip zilch. None of her ideas ever work!

You folks speak as if Giuliani isn't going to do a 180 on abortion and SSM- he will. It might not happen until 2 weeks before election, but it will once the realisation sets in that the social conservative vote is their key to keeping this election close. Also, there's still a year left and a lot can happen - think Bush in 2004 vis a vis Bush in 2005.

He won't do that. If he does a 180 on abortion right before the election because he's sagging in the polls he'd just make himself look like a pathetic opportunist and lose by an even larger margin than he would otherwise.

now let's say Guiliani does such a last minute switch. are Catholics thn bound by their faith to believe him and voting accordingly? Is it a teaching of the Church that politicans dont lie?
