Perhaps I have just missed it, but something that irritates me about one of Pelosi's attempts at rationalizing her view, is the line "... agrees with the Church that we should reduce the number of abortions ..." She uses that line in her rhetoric, and now she tries to frame the Church's position as akin to hers ... that abortions should be "reduced." Wrong again, Ms. Speaker - the Church wants to stop abortion in total, not merely "reduce" them. The Church's teaching is that they should not take place AT ALL! She attempts to nuance herself as being in line with the Church in that they "agree" that abortions should be reduced, and that is wrong! She's a train wreck.
