She has had significant secular media in Australia. My little sister had an article along side hers on Monday and was on the Today show here on Tuesday morning.

What do we expect from a light news program like that?
I think the most illuminating thing about it (aside from the courageous witness of Dawn and the young Australian woman, of course) is the way in which the program manages to rhetorically absorb their statements as 'lifestyle choices' - "whatever floats your boat, I guess" being the best way that most crippled contemporary moral intellects can deal with countercultural chastity. They can't really get their heads around it, so they try to reframe it within their own model of 'tolerance' which reasserts the moral equivalency of all sexual choices.
Again, it is a silly program, but it does reflect a common dullness with regard to sexuality among a large number of people today. So sadly appropriate that the very people who are such great proponents of sexual license are generally the same ones who quickly lose their sense of sexuality's preciousness.
One thing that didn't get said which ought to is that while a virgin may not 'get to experience sex,' a promiscuous person cannot experience chastity. We really have a responsibility to turn the tables on people who try to cast virginity or marital chastity as a negative, an absence of a good. In reality, it is promiscuity which is missing something great.

I was kind of surprised when the woman reporter at the end of the video said good for them... but she followed it up with "whatever floats your boat I guess." They made it sound like no one chooses to be chaste before marriage. Did you notice the two women were getting disgusted by the reporter's questions?
