I think whoever matches up the best with 'social' catholic teaching is the one we should all flush in the primaries. It's telling that Brownback has gotten the most votes to date on your site. Apparently you attract your shareof nutters.
But what can be expected of a group of people who think a fella can sit in a magic chair and receive divine revelation.
Might as well put on the magic underwear or go looking for fairies in the garden. But at least catholics don't pretend to be rational about it all. Thats a plus.

Jim,
care to elaborate?
What's is nuts about opposing abortion?
All scientist agree the an embryo is living, and that it is human. What is living is also being. Therefore, abotion is the destruction of a Human Being. If you wish to say that some human beings have less of a right to life, then you will have to give a criteria for that. Is being unconscious of oneself being less human? if so, drunken men and women don't have the right to life either.
I take comfort for the fact that the Catholic church is the most hated church in the world, because Christ was the most hated man. That makes the Church the worthy bride of Christ.

Why in heavens do people think Ron Paul lives up to catholic social teaching? He's a libertarian, short hand for "no, I'm not my brothers keeper".
