Gravatar Not hard to do here in Savannah, GA! Only the second biggest bash here in the US! Supposedly Irish whiskey is the best cure for snakebite; no one's gotten bit yet, but no sense taking the chance, hee hee!

Gravatar Better yet, since San Patrizio was of Italiano descent how about a corned beef pizza with that Guinness? 0;)

Gravatar Actually, was Patrick Italian or Romano-British? I've always heard the latter.

Gravatar Ohhhh, my head hurts. Nat's gotta straighten y'all out again today...

Patrick was CATHOLIC, y'all! Not Romano-British or Episcopalian or Presbyterian or East Anglian or Pict or Geatish or Jehovah Witness or Rahstafarian.

He was Catholic.
JUST LIKE NAT.

;)

Gravatar Patrizio's (Patricius) Papa was Roman. Rome is a part of Italia, ergo Patrizio was of Italiano heritage.

Patrick (Patricius Maewyn Succat) was born in Scotland (or maybe[?] Wales) That is a part of the British Isles. His Dad was Roman ergo Patrick was Romano-British.

Hope this clears things up for you Nicholas.

Gravatar This reminds me the "problem" with Saint Anthony, born and raised in Portugal and so much dear to the portugueses, is called "of Padua" because of the great love the italiens have for him.
Some people think he's italien what boders very much the portuguese people.
Maybe with St. Patrick is something like that.

Gravatar Good celebrate to saint. No country to claim, he in Heaven.

Gravatar Look again to picture Saint Patrick on article. He say, "see? Snakes."

Gravatar Aloha from Hawaii ...

But didn't anyone remember that today, March 19, is the Holy Father's feast day of St Joseph? Last year I remember we had a very nice picture of the Holy Father at a celebration for the St Joseph Feast Day!

And how appropriate ... the universal Pastor's feast day is on the day of St Joseph, the universal Patron of the Church....

Gravatar Me like Floaty. Him good posts. But seriously, yo: you gotta get yo'self some grammar, so you can lay down the papist smack at a faster clip. Check out Nat's Free Webcourse (TM): for only $19.95 you will be thoroughly educated in the ways of

1) Posting thoroughly papistical, yet thoughtful and engaging comments on random blogs of your own choosing.

2) Using up valuable cyberspace with dubious humor.

3) Drinking sangria from a sippy cup.

Just stop by www.wheresyourcreditcardnatneedssomemoney.com for your first free* lesson.

Gravatar I'm trying to spread the word about some very sacrilegious Catholic "art" that was created by a Cornell student. It depicts various Catholic saints in scenes with nudity, fornication, and general disrespect.

I'm hoping to mobilize some Catholic blog opposition, at the very least leaving some negative comments. I've already posted myself and would appreciate a larger blog joining the debate. http://ivycatholic.blogspot.com/ ...vygateblog.html

Gravatar Thanks hank. I'm not sure if you realize this but you also pointed me towards an online version of St. Patrick's confession - which I've been looking for. :)

Gravatar Stephen, didn't several of the saints do that stuff before they became saints? Just playing Devil's Advocate here. Beleive me, on St. Paddy's in Savannah you see PLENTY of N, F, and GDisR! If the Cornell student posted them down here everyone would assume it's just the revelers.
