Several cryptic comments have given me chills this campaing. One was Obama early on saying that "McCain doesn't know what he's up against." People generally say something like that only if they have someone bigger and stronger behind them, unknown to their rivals. It comes off to me as diabolical.
This comment by Biden is another. It comes off to me that he knows about a plan to make Obama a popular president, by conspiring some tragedy that he will respond to. It was Democrats who accused Bush of plotting 9-11 to make him look good. It is not inconceivable that they would actually do such a thing.
But what will it be? Will Iran get to build their nuclear weapons, in exchange for provoking an Obama administration and getting their wrists slapped? More likely Obama will get to deal with Chavez' saber-rattling and when the dust settles, Russia will have an unchallenged base there. Or something like that.
Exactly what are Palin's drawbacks?
I wish she was top of the ticket.

That is very creepy, aside from the violently pro-abortion/infanticide campaign platform Obama/Biden are running. With their lack of respect for the unborn, I'd say that any veiled threat such as these should be taken seriously.
NBC didn't play the whole clip. Biden goes on later to say something to the effect of Obama's ensuing actions (when faced with this international crisis) not being favorable or the right decision. Biden went on to ask that they not let Obama's polling drop because of his actions that may not seem favorable.
McCain's lawyers have contacted NBC asking why they didn't play the whole clip. The answer that they won't say is that to do so would be devastating to Obama's campaign.
Knight? He's a joker. By now the campaign has ordered an extra large box of duct tape to keep on hand. He brings nothing to the ticket except snickers. And I don't mean the candy bars.

That was in the AP (Assoc. Press) story about McCain claiming experience from the Cuban Missile Crisis.
But what it says to me is, "He's gonna need you to silence detractors, hint, hint." You know, through ridicule, slander, lawsuits, accusations of hate crimes, and acts of varying degrees of violence.
