How did Nazi sympathizer and founder of Planned Parenthoodlums Margret Sanger describe those black preachers who could be tricked into her agenda? "Useful idiots," wasn't it?

I'm surprised that these people are so ignorant of the Democratic Party's history. Racism was prevalent until Al Smith and Franklin Delano Roosevelt came along.
Abortion is deeply rooted in the eugenics movement, which is blatantly racist.

Another example of this kind of reasoning would be the addition of the drunk-driving lane...
"Of course we advocate 'Don't drink and drive programs, but we also must be realistic enough..."
(I can't take credit for it though...I'm ashamed to say it came from "Lions for Lambs.")

To me, it's becoming more evident that a large segment of this country rejects logic and reason.
On the right and the left, but more on the left.

"when the baby really gets here you all abort them"
LCB nails it. This comment is absurd and reveals a complete lack of an ability to reason.
Assume for the sake of argument that we who are pro-life are guilty as charged; we care only about the fetus before it is born and care nothing for the child thereafter.
The speaker is condemning us for this post-birth negligence and, were it true, the condemnation would not be unjust.
But . . . if the speaker believes that we're condemnable for post-birth "abortion" by negligence, then mustn't one also be condemnable for failing to protect the unborn child?
And even if you find some equivalency in the condemnable conduct, the existence of the post-birth condemnable conduct does not make the pre-birth condemnable conduct any less condemnable . . . does it?
Sadly, discussions of this nature have devolved into an exchange of wise-a** sloganeering.
Here's my contribution [not entirely original with me, of course]:
A society that doesn't care about the health and well-being of its children is bad.
A society that kills them before they are born is worse.

Tom:
Please check the link on the article -- it points to nothing (an Error 404 page).
I wanted to see that article because the name Veazey rang a bell. Wasn't he with the "Religious" Coalition for Reproductive Choice? If that's the same weasel, then his comments aren't in the least surprising.

"I believe in not abusing drugs, but I also believe I have to be realistic enough to tell my young people how to sanitize the needles and keep from getting HIV"
I wanna play too! I believe in not robbing banks, but I also believe I have to be realistic enough to tell young people how to wear ski masks and body armor.

Since Veazey thinks it's better to abort people who lack health care, housing, and opportunity, would he advocating making up for it by killing them now?
If "these are the same kids that they were so anxious to bring here,” is he anxious to have them killed now instead?
