I've got a friend in Port Arthur that refused to leave, I haven't heard from him since yesterday, I hope he changed his mind :( :(
Praying like crazy...

It is nasty. We will probably be on the weaker side of the storm (west) and we are over 100 miles from Galveston, but they are still predicting winds upwards of 80-100 miles an hour. This thing is HUGE and the storm surge is going to be nasty.
We talked my sister-in-law, who lives 20 minutes from Galveston, out of her house yesterday, but there are many others who stayed. They need prayers.

Prayer requests on this end as well. I have a good number of close friends living in Houston. They went north but of course, everybody's leaving their homes and lives in Houston. At least, not to the mercy of the storm but God's. Time to take out those beads out of the pocket. I'm going down to Dallas on Tuesday to see them.

We got out and are waiting to go back in. Keep us in your prayers. It seems as if the storm surge wasn't as bad near us as it could have been. Thanks for all the prayers.
