There's a certain irony in what he says about Ghandi, although in fairness to Father Nicolas the principles he enunciates are hardly alien to the Christian tradition. Indeed, the priority of the question 'Is it true?' is something that the Holy Father has expressed several times in his theological writings.

Exactly, why must he go looking in Ghandi for what is already perfectly expressed in the Christian tradition and the writings of popes? Does the fact that it comes from Ghandi make it more true? Of course not! Ugh.

The first red flag was when he called the Holy Father "Pope Ratzinger".
Then, he said he would do what the congregation wants. Shouldn't he be doing what the Holy Father wants?

It should be noted that in Italian, it's perfectly normal and not at all disrespectful to refer to Pope .

Does the fact that it comes from Ghandi make it more false? Ugh.
