So it's decided that the Danish cartoons were a Christian provocation?

I'm all for talking with folks. Really. But I gotta wonder if the first thing that runs thru a Vaticanista's mind is "Muslims. Voted with us at the UN Population Control Conference. Must be pretty okay, I guess."

I wonder what they will be talking about in 50 years, when Europe will transform into Eurabia.
The Vatican will be surrounded by hostile states.

The Vatican is in the middle of a sea of secularism as it is, but yeah, it could be worse.
Nothing our Church hasn't dealt with before, though. And she lived and thrived through that, too!

Crisis could have been averted if Christians had jointly spoken out against the Danish cartoons? How come we didn't hear much from the Muslim community after 9/11 or other attacks? If you want to compare the two incidents (9/11 with the Danish cartoons), I would put one on a scale 10, at 10 and the other below 1! This is not an isolated incident, but the reaction from the Muslim community has been mixed, some opposing, some supporting. But you wouldn't have heard any Christian supporting the Danish cartoons, as being right.
GOD Bless!
